Storing valuable items.

I have a small collection of very valuable items from the singer Selena Quintanilla.  There’s some autographs, a letter, postcard, check, among other things.  My question is, what would be the best option to store these in?  I have a fireproof safe, but have heard about humidity issues with that. I appreciate the help.

What are you using to store these items in - Mylar or? I'd start there.

I have them in top loaders right now.  I would like to store them in a safe but the one I have is fire proof.  Any recommendations for a safe that would protect them?  I would rather not have them outside of one as they are worth a considerable amount.

I agree with Eric.  Consider storing the items in Mylar.
