Known forger who alwas uses this texture. Junk quality often on eBay.

I agree with Eric, it’s a poor fake.

Here’s a legit Bowie IP that I obtained myself in 1995:

Very nice, very typical. Here is another '95:

Wow! But mine is a fake! OH MAN!

Sorry, but it is. Very poor quality.

Here is another from this selllers past:

Ben,

There is a particular shape to Bowie’s autograph — even his rush jobs — that very few forgers are capable of imitating well.  You can see the difference if you compare yours with the legit examples that Eric and I have posted.

His numerals, when present, are also very useful in determining authenticity.  Note the shape of the number 9, and the right-to-left top line of the number 5.  Bowie was left-handed, whilst most forgers are right-handed.

Bowie’s signature also tends to slope downward, not upward.  Again, a left-handed trait, although this is not a hard-and-fast rule, as you can see from the BBC ticket I posted above.

Here is another variant - but still typical. Click for full image:

Really nice. I'm a fool.

If you looking at shapes you can see much to come in my earliest - a rare 1976:

WOW! LOVE IT!

Thanks :)
