Out of curiosity I wondered how others prefer to organize their autographs. Binders, frame and wall displays or any other way.

I do both, with a caveat. I have a huge Montreal Canadiens autograph collection. Every player, coach, manger from 1956 - 1993. All kept in binders with stats and bio pages. But I also have duplicate group of about 120 autographs based on another theme which I display.

I have a huge theater room with projector, screen, etc. On the walls I have autographs  of about 300 actresses from the teens through sixties. Also some In windowed frames. I am thinking of putting most of them in binders and substituting a fewer group of duplicates on a different theme.

Binders offer more protection. But displays make more of a visual impression.

That is an awesome room, Old School!

Thanks. a large basement for theater purposes was a priority when we moved here.

Thanks. I carried things around in binders for years living in smaller houses before we moved into this place. We had a big basement space that was unfinished when we moved in. We dived it into three rooms. A TV room where I have my music and comic autographs. A middle room with an office and my sports items. And a long theater room with my movie memorabilia. I'm including a few more pix showing the other side. Besides autographs I have hundreds of vintage magazines from the thirties to sixties. I cut out duplicate movie ads and plastered the walls with them. I also have a number of swatch cards from movie stars from those years that I have displayed. I'm currently putting together a display of movie producers, directors, and other off screen figures.

Luckily my wife is on board with my basement configuration.

That looks impressive, I'd recommend keeping them out of any Sunlight and using the best UV protection sleeves to put them in so they don't get sun damage.

Thanks for the advice. The windows of those rooms are covered, but I will move a few things in another room.

You must have a very understanding spouse, lol. I happily do.

Luckily I do. She does what she wants on the two upper floors, I have the three room basement, so it evens out. She actually is a casual collector with her own themes. Including one small autograph focus. So when we go to thrift stores and antique places we each focus on our own interests.
