It's hard to say. Under a magnifying glass the "S" "L" and "B" look like they have tiny striations or darker flecks. Very hard to tell with the smaller letters. The "S"…"
"Judging by the slightly out of focus end of "Brooks", I'd guess this is signed in the negative but it is not completely obvious (see the ink-looking "S" of "Sincerely").
Anyway, I'd guess the signature itself…"

1957 team signed Montreal Canadiens mini bat

- 1) to recapture memories of subjects of interest from my past. 2) to enter into the ambience of past times before I was born. 3) to expand the focus on groups and individuals from specific teams and genres of 8nterest.

- I have had thousands over the years, so it's hard to think of one. Sometimes it might be a totally obscure player who completes a project. Or a long dead actress who was forgotten over time.
But I have a Montreal Canadiens jersey signed by Maurice Richard and Jean Beliveau. Also a Mantle signed yearbook page with a story behind the acquisition. And I should mentioned autographs of Louis B. Mayer, Dore Schary and Eddie Mannix of MGM. Also an MGM signed print with 23 autographs of iconic stars of the forties and fifties.
