From what I know Sellers usually Starts his P with an upstroke and it is not connected with the e. In the examples I know the "er" in Peter doesn't look like a "u", and the final "s" is off, too.
But nevertheless to me it seems to be in the ballpark. The "spirit" fits, IMO. See what others say.
Eric's examples proof that the "er" in Peter did look like a "u" sometimes. Good to know, thank you, Eric! Althogh the small upstroke in the P, that Eric's examples also have, misses in the OP, I am convinced it is authentic.
