I don't like it. But...he was good about signing in the mail and it's personalized, so that all works in your favor. It could be the real deal.

I think it's real but not the best example of his signature and probably signed later in his life

It looks genuine to me. I have his signature from 20 years ago and while there are some minor variations in this example, it's still his.
