Business as usual. They are there to TAKE YOUR MONEY. Nothing else. It is foolish to think otherwise. And believe me, they have a legal out. Terminology.

Unfortunately I suppose this means the class action lawsuit is a moot point and other then a little bad press which you could argue isn't that bad since they ultimately refunded, there are again no consequences and no reason it won't happen again in the future.

I'd like to express my gratitude and admiration for everyone here who managed to scare the s*** out of a multi million dollar company, who no doubt have been reading this thread and got scared they might lose control of the story very soon. Pressure was mounting and evidence was growing, they did not come clean out of choice or because it was the right thing to do, but because they no longer had any other choice. Now the CEO should be forced to resign, he put his name on the line on what turned out to be a confirmed massive fraud case. Let us never underestimate the power we have in this forum. Collectively, we are a force to be reckoned with.

Amen! I sent the Variety article to the CEO at Premiere, not only to inform him of the news, but it is also show of strength of this community (and a real, public example that autopens are among us). You better believe the heads of retailers and publishers will take note of how this played out, and they better think twice before knowingly going forward with a “signed” item that they aren’t certain is legitimate. Good work to everyone involved here
