You guys think there will be signed options?

I thought about this clip too lol. Thank God I somehow got lucky with 4 signed Dave Grohl books and will never let them go.
They seem to be on sale on PremiereCollectibles, but super expensive
I think we are entering an age where celebrities are becoming more aware of how much their sigs are worth and as such are less likely to just hand them out unless they get something out of it too.
100%. The pandemic taught some celebrities that they could fleece their customers in many ways - pricey private signings, shrewd signings for singles to influence sales charts, and of course, a rise in autopen fakes.
Also, now there's something called Dynamic ticket pricing which has massively impacted ticket scalping. Scalpers are turning into other alternatives where demand outstrips supply, like signed memorabilia. I think flipping is a trend that is increasing and celebrities are becoming increasingly aware of it.
True - I remember seeing a video by Jason David Frank (Green Ranger on Power Rangers) a few months back, shortly before his passing, where he spoke about this trend of celebrity knowledge of their own signatures.
He mentioned doing a publicity/signing tour at several collectible stores in California, and specifically discussed how he had left "$750,000 on the table" at a store, in reference to the value of the items he was signing and how much they would go for on the secondary market. Conversely, his castmates, Walter Jones and Austin St. John, have been doing very well on the fan convention circuit, and (AFAIK) have upped their signed merch offers over the last couple of years.
Any celebrity worth their salt these days is keenly aware of what they can get for their memorabilia, particularly signed, and it's influencing the secondary market. I don't expect there to be a crash on the sector in the short-term, though I do expect prices will normalize down the line, similar to what has been happening with sports cards over the past six months.
