Thank you Pauline. I really value your opinion. It is on a page from an autigrqoh book and was Authenticated in 1995 by "profiles in history". I hadn't heard if them so wanted to run it by the experts here. The sellers dad had purchased it, so that's where the provenance ends unfortunately. Nice bold signature reqlly appealed to me!
I would think this is around 1950, maybe 51, no later than 1952.
So similar to her writing on the 20th Century Fox contract of 1951, which later was and still is, used as her her brand logo autograph, (before the spidery scrawl set in).
Profiles in History was a top notch entertainment and history dealer and auction house. The owner, Joe Maddalena and his #1, Brian Chanes, were wooed by Heritage Auctions who I believe they purchased the company too. They sold many of the most amazing Marilyn Monroe pieces ever.
