I have a question. Yesterday I was the high bidder on this GNR album at $350. Which seemed like a great deal. Even got confirmation email saying I was the highest bidder and a the time was the only bidder. Now today when I checked I was no longer listed as a bidder on the item at all. Someone else was the 1 and only minimum bidder at $750. I was never informed of any error or change. I think by mistake they listed it at the wrong price and then later changed it. Now there is no record of it except these screenshots I made. What do you think?Screenshot_20230702_151658_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20230702_151651_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20230702_151623_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20230702_151623_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20230702_151552_Email.jpg

I had not heard before what you and Nick said, Eddy. That does concern me. The lots are almost always rock-solid, which is what I look most at.

Oh, no doubt about that Steve.  I don't have any qualms at all that the material being offered is top notch.

It's the seemingly sketchy practices that are concerning.... and why I blocked both their emails and phone numbers.   I just don't want to get further drawn into playing games and frustrations in hobby that I do for enjoyment.

Nick, what was the item?

The item in question was Lot #924, Wright Brothers Flyer Kitty Hawk Flown Fabric Swatch (CAG Encapsulated). I thought this was a top-notch non-autographed item that I was ready to go big on but it was withdrawn. I do agree the offerings are great but the practices are a bit out of the ordinary.
