Wasn't there a controversy about Ted Williams's son taking advantage of his father's signed items?

I vaguely remember some sort of brouhaha about Ted Williams's son becoming his father's "signature manager" and exploited his elderly father and perhaps cheat him out of money.

Is anyone familiar with this?

Yes, that was a big issue several years ago.  They started Green Diamond as the company selling his items.  There were also rumors that his son John Henry signed a bunch of stuff.

I thought so. I knew it go real nasty and gave the Ted Williams estate a blackeye.
