The De Niro is beyond comical.

Thank you, I have no experience with him. That helps immensely though! Do you have any thoughts on the Depp?

Sorry - no experience there.

I'm sure others will contribute in respect of Depp.

Thank you! I didn't like it myself    lol

Your opinion was sufficient to me to make me feel embarrassed enough to pull the pic. Thank you!

Please do not pull pics out of discussions. Others will want the thread to make sense too.

Okay, I'm still learning the site etiquette.....

No problem!

I had a signed limited edition. can't find it on my database so must be on one of my crashed laptops - lol! - but that wasn't it!

Well, it is only my opinion.

I am not not infallible - no-one is.

One of my favourite signers was - allegedly - sometimes, very drunk when she sat down for a signing session. Who  knows what you might get on one of those occasions!

lol!

Buying an autograph is, to me, the very last step in collecting. If you buy without knowing the signature, subject, signing habits, what is considered above average for the signer, if the signature is a mess or careful or even authentic, how will you buy the best pieces you can? You can't.

Buy based on your own accumulated knowledge, after much observation, collecting scans of known authenticity saved to a dedicated file, and so on. That works for me. YMMV.

I do not know what YMMV means.........And although I agree with your statement, I am more than a casual collector but less than an expert.....I spent my last 40 years installing cast iron plumbing/piping in high rises downtown in the most inclimate weather and trying to be a good father and family man. Honestly, I don't know quite what you're getting at here. The reason I joined this club was to get some help in the things that I don't have time to do but am willing to learn. I'm 64, retired with an 8 year old son and am a pretty busy guy. If I am using this forum or site for more than I expected, please let me know. I have some expertise in my favorites, but there are some other items I wish to accumulate and need some help learning. Thank you...........
