I have been doing some extensive online reading tonight regarding this company.  To put it frankly: I feel ill.  Over the past couple years i have purchase about 10 autographed record albums (total dollar value - $450 - $500) from them without ever contemplating the possibility of a fake (my fault completely!!).  Some of them I still figure to be real because of the overall insignificance of the artists and the low dollar value.
However, I purchased an autographed album of Stevie Ray Vaughan for roughly $100 on a 75% off sale (again I feel like an imbecile!).  I know that is quite inexpensive (and naive on my part) but I felt I was buying the real deal.
Just tonight I came across a pile of damning accusations toward these guys (autographsamerica.com) and, like I said, now I feel that at least half of the purchases I have made may be fake.  For the money value I may as well chalk it up as a life lesson but what can I do to ensure what I do have is authentic without it costing me an arm and a leg?  I am just a music fan who wants a few nice pieces of memorabilia for my listening room...now I feel like a dupe.

The artists autographs that are in question are as follows:

Stevie Ray Vaughan
ZZ Top
Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin)
Judas Priest
Def Leppard
Rory Gallagher
Journey

Any information or advice would definitely be well received and greatly welcomed...thanks in advance!

I can post photos of the aforementioned records if that may help with the situation.

How did you get handed that? LOL! WOW!
Someone claiming to be a disgruntled employee.
I got ripped by Autographs America for 2 signed Beatles albums and 2 signed guitars. Steve Cyrkin gave me some great advice and hopefully can help me fight the credit card dispute. Thank God we are not alone in our fight, with guys like Steve around. There is good and bad in the world; Autographs America= bad, Autograph Magazine & Steve Cyrkin= good!
Thank-you everyone for the heartbreaking affirmations, lol! So, the consensus is that everything I purchased is actually forged, huh???

Stephen, it looks as though my Robert Plant is a bogus...the "R" is not consistent with the ones you posted, though the rest of it looks relatively similar. Alas!!

If anyone can post pictures of legitimate autographs of the bands i have mentioned or direct me to some online photos (Journey, ZZ Top, Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rory Gallagher, Robin Trower, the Babys) i would greatly appreciate it!

Again, I thank everyone who has contributed to this discussion...
The December 2009 issue has a feature on Led Zeppelin that's full of signature samples. Are you a subscriber?

You can go toRoger Epperson's www.signedsealeddel.com and see real examples if he has them.
No, I am not a subscriber to anything related to memorabilia...unfortunately!

Thank-you for the link.
Read this article if you haven't. Has some rules of the road:

Again, thank-you for the link, it was very informative and mostly plain old common sense.

I think for the time being I will stick to obtaining my autographs in person...at least I know those are real. Besides, it means more to me when I have them personalize it (a practice I started over 10 years ago).
Do you need the Vivian Campbell or Steve Clark line-up from Def Leppard?
And what Line-up do you need with Judas Priest?
Def Leppard's "on through the night" line-up and Judas Priest's "stained class" line-up but with Simon Phillips on drums.
Just looked at his site, in particular items I have an expertise in like Frank Sinatra. In my expert opinion, ALL of his Frank SInatra items are Blatant Forgeries. And, it looks like from his images the SAME person was forging all the items. On top of that , here is a big red flag. He has a signed Sinatra album, normal price $675 and has it on sale for 75% off, for $165. WHO would sell a GENUINE SInatra for $165? As a matter of fact, TRY and find a GENUINE Sinatra signed album cover for $675.
