This looks good...and nice and clean.   To be honest, as far as authenticity goes, I'd prefer a 'Monty' form over 'Montgomery' any day...unless he was signing his proper name on a legal document.

Thanks for the tip about "Monty" over "Montgomery." Yes, I agree, I like the fact the signature is clear and crisp.

I believe "Monty" is the form preferred by many.

It seems like the full name "Montgomery" signature usually goes for more money when it's offered...but it's really scarce to see those besides legal documents. 

It's funny....you would have thought that he would have only signed "Monty" to people he knew.....but that was not the case.  He signed as "Monty" on most everything to anyone.   

This was on a 1953 contract that he signed for the film TERMINAL STATION.   I had this in my collection at one point:
