Went to see them last summer and they were excellent. Disappointingly, they did not do any signings although it was all set up for them.

just checked out a video of them live from last year and they do still sound great but I agree with one of the comments I read, No Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson and Bob "The Bear" Hite, No Canned Heat. I realize they have both passed so they don't have a choice but it's still pretty much just a cover band now with the drummer the only original member left.

I get that but I have to say they opened the set with Going Up the Country and the guy on vocals (he comes and goes. can't remember his name) sounded so like Alan Wilson that my wife and I just looked at each other, mouthing simultaneously WTF! It was honestly spooky and beautiful - I'll never forget it!
