I periodically find items I'd really like to own and I figure the rest of you do too.

This thread is dedicated to the items we wish we had and would like to share. They don't have to be the most expensive items, but things that have special meaning for some reason or catch our eyes.

Thanks to Mr Zipper for posting the first thread of this similar nature.

wouldnt mind owning this either

Big fan of Robert Shaw...mostly in his legendary roll in Jaws

Would LOVE to have a Lazzeri auto in my collection as well....super rare and always in the 4 figure range most of the time

an Andy Warhol and Truman Capote signed copy of Interview.

an upclose on Warhol.

an upclose on Capote.

Warhol and Capote? That sounds rare.

Then the Ruth, DiMaggio and Cobb baseball CEE GEE posted is amazing too. I don't think there's any one autograph I'd trade my entire collection for, except maybe a Shakespeare autograph for monetary reasons.

The next item I wish I owned:

16x20 famous pose with a giant autograph. It isn't quite Ruth, DiMaggio, Cobb, or Warhol and Capote, but I'd say it's rarer than people might expect.

You know what brick...I will take back that statement...I love my autos...to give them all up may be a bit crazy but that Ruth ball just makes me really nuts just to know one like that even exists...and I will never own it....maybe someday

Maybe the question should be... is there a single autographed item that you would give it all up for? :-)

Mr.Zipper...that's a great idea...will a Ruth ever come my way ?...I hope someday...but because condition can make or break your wallet...its just something that really is the holy grale to me

would love to have this pieces in my collection....what a great pair of cuts

3 out of 4 ain't bad.  ;-)  LOL

your the best zipp

Looks pretty neat and expensive too, though signed cuts aren't exactly the most desirable in my book. Also, some of the Barack Obama autograph is even hidden by the insert. These are certainly some of the higher grade cuts though. 1/1 Ty Cobb and Babe Ruth, hah.
