Hi everyone.

I'm a bit cautious about Ali autographs as I know there are a lot of fakes. Can anyone cast their eye over this signed copy of Ali's Life and Times? It says it was done to mark his visit with the book to London (presumably on initial release). Did he hand sign a brace of these to sell (he was there in person, apparently) - or were these usually printed / secretarial etc?

Many thanks

This one is good. It's a known style that I often see on signed bookplates especially.

Thank you. He obviously did a brace of these?

Ali signed a lot and was generous with his time, but there's also historically been a lot of demand. Books like these are a great way to enter the market without breaking the bank.

And unlike a lot of athletes, his books are often important texts and not just vanity works, so they do have historical significance and value.
