Personally I think it's genuine. The signature isn't mine, it's part of a complete set they showed in a group. Would it be worth having? What do you think?
The fading is not reversible and steps will have to be taken to prevent further fading.
Your decision should be based on, does it come with a COA and what value you put on it.
Thank you for your comments!
It is what it is but has been seriously compromised, and eye appeal is everything along with condition - both are very problematic here IMO.
If I understand, I think the fading is reversible. Do you think there is value in owning this? The signature is not mine, I saw it in another group but I contacted the owner, just out of curiosity.
It may be. Lots can be done just with just gasses. The question is, after the valued observations from Ballroom are understood, if genuine, what is the coast be of such restorative work? What would the resulting value be? The restoration would always have to be disclosed, and what is the potential eye appeal? I don't think it is worth the time or money.
You're right, I don't even know if he wants to sell it, I'm just curious.
The signature looks odd to me. There’s an extraneous portion after the first N, and the formation of the third N looks unusual.
Yes, now that you mention it you are right. I have seen so many styles that it is difficult for me to find notable differences. Thanks for your comment
