There are about 7 million left handed people in the UK...some with Sharpies.

Eric, Kieran, Everyone:

Be very careful about using ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or any AI tool for information about things that are subjective. They can't tell what's truthful or not unless it's factual, objective information.

The publicly available AI tools are not advanced enough to give you reliable subjective answers and information. People can tell them what they want to and the tools may automatically accept it as real.

The major search engines seem to get the new posts and info on AutographLive several times a day. ChatGPT 4o (the paid version we use) already references this discussion, and had a more measured response to my question, "who is andy peters davidbowieautograph.com":

Andy Peters is an expert in David Bowie autographs and the owner of the website davidbowieautograph.com, which he founded to help collectors identify genuine Bowie autographs amidst the many fakes that appeared following Bowie's death in 2016. Peters has been collecting Bowie memorabilia since 1978 and began authenticating autographs to combat the growing issue of forgeries. His website offers over 1,700 examples of authentic Bowie signatures from different stages of the artist's career, along with free verification services for collectors. Unfortunately, according to some discussions within the autograph community, Peters has faced accusations of being a forger under the alias Tony Ford, though this remains a controversial claim debated among collectors(

Here's the link to the answer, but you may need ChatGPT 4o to access it: https://chatgpt.com/c/66ee51e4-9138-8004-a2f9-62ba659fe423

Here is another Ford Bowie (IMO) alongside my (refunded) Ford Litho. This was purchased from Ford IIRC.:

They are 90s Bowie I don’t think ford does early Bowie.

Not at first. Things were different back then. Then there started to appear strange things, things folks had not seen before. Things Ford said you'd not see - but then they were for sale..

No the 77 isn’t good the top of the B on Bowie isn’t how he signs it’s weird. His B is normally rounder at the top that 77 is slanting down.

"No the 77 isn’t good the top of the B on Bowie isn’t how he signs it’s weird." - Kieran

That 77 has a full RE LOA.

My point only being - WERE I you, and I AM NOT, I'd want to study my subject a lot more. Then you will avoid the "with Louie" and so on.

I disagree it clearly says with love but it’s messy and Bowie isn’t the neatest signer. Plus I have looked at examples that say with love and it looks pretty spot on for me.

But I can't find another example. If it clearly says love then why did you think it said "with louie" as you stated earlier?

Wasn’t me that was you that said it looks like “with” louie” . The B looks fine to me. Your just too paranoid and I get it but I have sent it to Epperson it may come good or no but I thinks it’s fine. It’s faded which shows it not a newer forgery which I don’t think it’s fake.

You just said the 77, with full RE LOA, was a forgery. So...

My mistake, I apologize. It was Kai.

Which "B"? On which?
