I got this from a fellow that was selling his autograph collection. He tells the story in the letter provided. Named. Thank you for letting join your site. Bill Miller
Provided are a few of McQueen's facsimile autograph's rom eBay.
That makes a lot of sense. I was so excited to land this autograph. The seller sold almost all of his autographs. Either he was legit and trusted people like I had done through the years. I guess I will have more surprises good or bad as I start putting more signatures in my collection. I had it boxed and was going to ship it to PSA tomorrow. I still would like to hear some more comments. I am an old guy that can handle almost any thing.
Well, post some more of what he sold you for review. I would not send this to PSA - throwing good money after bad or whatever the saying is. How much did he ask for the "McQueen?" And when did you buy it and how?
PS - Sorry to bear bad news. Wish it was better.
You can always do a Quick Opinion with an authentication company. It's not an official authentication but it's a fraction of the price.
I don't expect the news to be any better but it might give you added peace of mind.
Steve C. is good with McQueen, perhaps he will take a look. I will ask him.
I can tell the the responses it is what you described. It it too perfect. I paid 350.00 for it a few weeks ago on Market Place. The seller had to know it was bad. He sold most of his other autographs. He must be a con? I will be trying to get my money back if the name is real on the letter. I will try and get my Ali glove posted on here and get ready for the let down.
That is much less than it should be. I would not place much stock in that letter. I wanted to mention, the "aging" is very revealing, apart from the poor execution.
Ali? What other names?
How did you pay?
