I'm looking to get a JFK. Is PSA good for him. I know nothing about his signature and would have to trust a TPA completely.
thank you.

Member Herman Darvick might be good to contact. He is good with presidential material.
Oh :-( I am very sorry to hear that. He was a good member, helping others when he could, RIP
If you go to a page like Historical Autographs on Facebook, you'll see that many younger collectors place a very high value on PSA's certifications, LOAs and encapsulations on U.S. presidential material. There are dealers there that only sell items that have gone through PSA or one of the other 2 larger TPAs.
Personally, I'd prefer to consult folks in the hobby (experienced dealers/ and or collectors) whom I would know to have knowledge of someone like JFK's signing habits.
I'd recommend these PADA dealerships to start with for possible consultation resources:

https://www.historyinink.com/Presidents.htm
Both currently have nice Kennedy items listed in stock and may have other possibilities as well.

Thank you!

loving this one. (The post magazine)
As far as quality, a silver gelatin photograph by Alfred Eisenstadt can't be beat by much at all. Contrast is blast. Placement perfect. I'd ask the weight of the paper and the finish. I'd love to know who that is in the portrait behind Kennedy as Eisenstadt is known for meaningful composition.
I had a Kennedy (as senator) SP at one point that I've since traded off. This was some years ago and I purchased it from yet another PADA dealer who has since retired.
I've often thought I'd love to have another but there is no way I would trust my own judgement at this juncture in time with all of the sophisticated JFK forgeries out there. I don't know the secretarials well enough either. There are always the autopens as well to sort through as well.
