Hi all I am new to this forum and I have enjoyed reading the many discussions re Beatles Autographs. I first saw this program on Ebay Australia and it caught my attention as it is an uncommon program from 4 shows in England from Sept 4-7 1963. I mostly collect early memorabilia and would never think of buying autographs on Ebay. This one felt different as the seller had nothing else music related and she was very communicative and friendly. She said her mother obtained the signatures in England in 1963 after she attended one of these concerts. (Mother died a number of years ago so she couldn't confirm which concert.) She had told her daughter that her people knew some of the Beatles entourage and she sent it backstage after the show. It was returned to her signed so no certainty who signed it, I have a feeling it was the Beatles having cross referenced it to dozens of their signatures from this period. It could of course be Neil Aspinal but I also know the band was still quite accessible at this stage in their history. If it's a forgery I feel it is very well done and I can be certain the owner didn't do it. Any information, thoughts appreciated as it is very difficult for quality authentication in Australia, thanks Tony

Welcome! The program was signed of their behalf by Neil Aspinall.
Hi Tony. These look like Neil Aspinall to me. By September '63 The Beatles were extremely popular in the UK, so they would not have been easy to access. They did become harder to to get to, but that period when you could access them fairly freely was earlier (late '62 / early-mid '63).
Thanks for the replies, disappointing of course but I knew it was a high chance. I am sure the original owner had 60 years of thinking it was the Beatles! Just wondering if there is any value in this type of Aspinal signed document? ( I appreciate it is a fraction of original Beatles autographs)
Yes, Neil’s proxy signatures are considered collectible. The most I’ve seen a full set sell for is around $1,000, but they usually go for less.
Neil could never get the ‘g’s right in Harrison’s signature.
