That might be more true than you wish. It might not. I would not go near anything sourced from "them" alone without a history as previously described so I don't have much else to say.

I would not buy it but I don't think, if authentic, it would be worth more $300 max.

Seller has this Paul McCartney up now...

Seller has sold this McCartney 4 times since May starting at $554 May 28th, then $509, then $427, the $349 with the last 2 sales on the same day, June 7th. Someone apparently cancelled quickly and wisely.

At best, being generous, he is selling such extremely low quality material it is unreal. At worst...

Apropos of very little, I just bought a collection of Moe Tucker (The Velvet Underground) handwritten memorabilia from this same seller that I am 100% certain is the real deal.  Everything about it stacks up, right down to the smallest detail.  I've never been more confident in my life.

Whatever is going on with this seller -- and I agree that the multiple listings of the same item are odd -- I don't think they are a serial faker.

As you know, I’m reluctant to get involved in the Bowie autograph circus these days.  The contrast and resolution here is poor, but it does look right when compared with previous 1989 autographs I’ve owned.  And by that, I mean ones that I obtained in 1989, not ones that have come to market since David’s death.

I won’t comment on the Bowie beyond this.  I just wanted to share my personal experience of the same seller.  I’ve bought a remarkable group of handwritten items by Moe Tucker, for an amazingly cheap price, that are, in my experience as a longtime collector of Velvets memorabilia, 100% legit.  Make of that anecdote what you will.
