it looks nothing like the ones that were posted a while back that were deemed authentic. I would be very leery of this one

Thanks, Terrier. I totally agree. I actually included it in this old discussion. It sold for less than 250 GBP back in 2020. Obviously, they were selling for a lot more at that time.

A friend had previously shown me this signature, and I determined it to be a fake. I see inconsistencies in the depth and shape of the "U," among other things.

Thanks, Raul. It’s the “McCa” portion that sticks out the most to me as appearing consistent with a known forgery style.

I noticed this, too. A fake - as a lot of those books.
