If anyone is interested in obtaining one of these books (which are still available at Waterstones), they are also available at Foyles and Hatchards.
The adverts on all websites are not clear that the books are hand signed (in addition to a signed print).
After reading the comments here, I recently bought one from Foyles and Hatchards to test if these 'exclusive' version books were the same as Waterstone's version. I can confirm that both copies from these stores also included a signed first page and each signature is slightly different, with some minor bleeding through the page, as well as a printed signature on the artwork included.
thanks, agree about the centralised stock. I found it odd that they didn't replicate the listing on websites, so thought I would test it to see if they were signed. At the same time, I ran the gauntlet with a signed version of the Live Aid book which were still available at Foyles and Hatchards after the book release, but again, the listing didn't explicitly state book was signed by Bob Geldof. I was happy to find that copies received were signed by both Bob and Paul and I now have a couple of extra Christmas gifts sorted. The signed Live Aid books are now sold out at both stores.
