I cannot find documentation on the signature of this game Used swatch

I’m hoping somebody can help me out with this, I have had this card for years and it’s clear that Lou Brock‘s signature was on the jersey before they cut it up, but I have never been able to find another cord with another piece of his autograph, and there is no documentation of what jersey was used creating this card. If there is anybody that knows anything about this please let me know.

There is an "unsigned" one on eBay - LINK

"The product is a 2005 Upper Deck Sweet Spot Classic trading card featuring a game-used jersey patch of baseball legends Lou Brock. The card belongs to the Sweet Spot Classic parallel/variety set and is not autographed. It is a collectible item from the MLB, specifically representing the St. Louis Cardinals team from the 2005 season manufactured by Upper Deck. This unique card is a valuable piece for fans and collectors of baseball memorabilia."

The auction also states these were manufactured in 2003.

I believe you may have misunderstood my question, it wasn’t about what the origin of this card was. It was if anybody had information on what jersey these cards where cut from, as you can see on mine, there is a portion of his actual signature that is cut off of the jersey itself before put into my card, I have not found any other example of a portion of his signature on any other card worldwide, so my question is if anybody has information on what jersey was used to create the swatches for this series.

How did you authenticare those marks as his signature? Is there a premium for this sort of thing? Does it mention anything about being "signed" on the Reverse?

I didn’t have it authenticated, it came out of the original package just like this, and it went straight into the protective sleeve where it has sat on my shelf ever since, And you can tell this is a sharpie on the fabric, and it matches exactly the K on his signature, so, using common sense and reason of deduction I assess that somebody either screwed up at the company and cut the wrong jersey up or this was never supposed to be cut up at all, I have heard the same thing happen for various other series where the collector that sent the jersey to be used in these cards sent the wrong jersey and it is forever lost. So again, I am just needing information on what jersey was actually used to cut these cards.

To me that is like buying a "the" from a letter by Geo. Washington. YMMV.

This would be more like getting the Wash off of his signature.

You'd probably have to chase the manufacturer -- I doubt there's going to be much documentation on this going back 20 years other than running straight to the creator/source. My understanding is that there has been a push in recent years to better track the origins of game-used memorabilia, but how that would tie in with what is presumably also a signed jersey is anyone's guess.

I’ve tried that, and unfortunately, I do not know who to call, I’ve tried the toll-free number and the person that I got was just trained to sell, so of course they had no idea and didn’t know who I would need to contact.

I'm not able to help you with the info you're requesting, but thought I'd share that there is another card out there with some writing on it like yours.
