These also are collectible Neil Aspinall secretarial signatures.

Someone paid 1,000 GBP for Neil's signatures. How sad.

My friend tried to warn the auction company but they went ahead anyway. Someone is in for a big shock when they try to later sell or authenticate these signatures and find out they have a set by Neil.

At least they have something that has value rather than just a regular set of forgeries. I’m not sure how Neil’s goof-up affects the value though.

The same auction house previously sold the exact same set in 2024 for £2,400

which auction house?

Thomson Roddick auctioneers & valuers

I had emailed them prior to the auction advising it was a Neil set. They seemed to be receptive to the information initially, but when I asked if they would amend the listing they replied saying they were selling them unauthenticated and it was up to buyers to make their mind up. A shame really, but not an unusual approach in the sector, unfortunately.
