Hey Mike I'm new, where can I find the buy/sell/trade page?  I'm looking for a good Eva Longoria.

I have this Longoria if you are interested:

The graph is a little sloppy (obviously rushed) but the price is really reasonable. Obtained in LA. More details if you need them. We have not seen her in a looong time.

I saw that Eva on ebay.  It caught my interest but it looks pretty grainy.  Is it just a bad scan?

I sure did.  Your input really gave me the confidence that I needed to pull the trigger.  Thanks for that!

Heres mine from the Salt movie premiere. Thought Id post it as the most recent example in the discussion

Does she really sign everything this way? lol

What do you guys think of these two examples? Both were collected by the guy who runs the Autograph History blog, and both were later PSA certified. The first one has some peculiarities, but they could be bumps like how Mike explained:

I'm with both of you: The second one is classic, the first one starts "off" and I wouldn't want it. I think it's good--the "Jolie" looks perfect--but the capital "A" is too irregular for me.

As a tip, just be careful buying off e-bay. Go through official dealers that are members of various organisations - chances of authenticity are much better and some are listed on ebay.

I'm not saying those who aren't members of organisations aren't reliable, but the chances of getting an authentic item are heightened, though in this game, there's never any guarantees.

I will say it seems like the UACC RD list has become a real crapshoot and means nothing to me. There are several in person collectors who don't belong to it that I'd go to  over several dealers on that list. In my experience AFTAL dealers seem to be better and more consistently screened at this point in time. I think the UACC needs to step it up.

I think the UACC RDs are good overall, but I have to agree with you, there are a number of RDs that shouldn't be members.

I used to agree with you about AFTAL being a step above, but AFTAL member Marc Mclennan, who has AFTAL Dealerships Number 3 & 4 and was one of AFTAL's founders, sadly, is not. We have traced a lot of forgeries to him, many copied from legitimate autographs sold by RRAuction. He even claimed a Queen signed album, w/Freddy Mercury, was sold by RRAuction and authenticated by Roger Epperson, even though neither one of those statements was true.

I've lost confidence in AFTAL.

That's a real shame. Dealers like that ruin it for the rest of the reputable ones on the list. I just feel like those lists should should be perfect. I guess it's hard to police, though.
