I have been collecting for a while now, but never really cared about certification due to the fact that I love collecting. Now that my collection is getting good, I am starting to worry about the accuracy of some of my stuff.

I have a whole bunch of stuff from TTA and Morales (Mantle, Williams, Dimaggio, Koufax, Mays, etc) and after reading article after article on here, I am starting to worry if they are fake. The signatures look good, but I am not a true expert.

I have put a few on here.. Dont break my heart please

even upside down, I don't like what I see...

i flipped them the right way... but i dont think that will help any

Burn it!!!!

I have yet to see ANYTHING with a cert from Morales and Taylor that I would say is authentic.  I've been looking at autographs authenticated (cough, cough) by Morales and Taylor for a long, long time, and up to this very day, can honestly say that I have yet to see an autograph certed by them that I would say is authentic.

I agree that the chances are slim. But I have looked at alot of exemplars and they look pretty close. Are there tell tale signs these aren't legit?

Forgeries are meant to have the appearance of being authentic.  The dirtbags that produce forgeries are very aware that the majority (70%) of people who purchase autographs, have zero knowledge of autographs, and that's why sellers of forgeries are able to stay in business.

The people who buy that crap almost always say "They look pretty close."

There is nothing close about them.

Thanks for the thought. All I am really asking is what are the tell tale signs on these, because i dont see them. I looked at the article on the main page about the Big 3 forgeries and I cant see the difference between what I have and what is out there. I understand that I am new to this and don't the "eye" yet, hence why I am asking for help

It takes years to acquire an eye for autographs.  It doesn't happen overnight and you can't learn autographs from a book.  It takes years of looking at autographs to acquire a trained eye.

I get that, its not as easy as "this is whats wrong". So I guess the next step is what do i do with all this bad stuff?

Can you get a refund?  How long ago did you purchase your items?

A few days ago... I am starting to think everything I got is fake and he must have known it

Just out of curiosity, who did you purchase them from and did you use a credit card?

I bought it from a guy on Craigslist but used PayPal. I got a lot of stuff. Jsa PDA/DNA and a lot of Morales and TTA
