Hello everyone.
I have a Marlon Brando baseball autographed. I have had it for a long time and got it from a friend that I helped out financially and he couldn't repay me. Does anyone know if this is a real signature? Just curios about that and what the value might be if it's real. Thanks for your help.

This appears to be his signature. I am a little concerned about the "B" but I have seen examples of him signing that way in the 1970s. I am mostly curious about the history of the item. How did your friend acquire it and what is the significance between Brando and the 1979 World Series? I would still like to hear from others regarding authenticity.
I'm not really sure how he acquired it. I have lost touch with him over the years. But the ball appears to be a game ball from the color looks like clay on it or something. But then again I'm no professional. Thanks for your help.
it looks authentic to me, im judging the shrink wrap around the ball is a protective case?
Yeah it's wrapped up. Got it that way. Does anyone think I should pull the trigger on getting it authenticated from PSA? Just don't want to waste the money if it's a fake
Yes it is, but people have different opinions on if it's real or not. I want to thank you for your reply.
everything looks ok apart from the "do" in brando, also ive never heard of him signing anything like a baseball as he hated people who asked him for one and would only give them to working class people when he pleased. but it was on like napkins, receipts etc that he signed .
What about it is turning you off Steve? Is it the signature itself or something related to the fact that it is a 1979 World Series ball that has been shrink wrapped? Adam, if you take Steve's advice, and I hope that you do, please keep us posted.
I'm just one opinion, and Adam needs more. But the letters are too well formed for Brando. Brando's signature tended to be a bit chaotic, and the "do" on the baseball is too vertical and polished.
But I've never seen a baseball signed by Brando, so who knows?
Well guys I don't know whether it's real or not. I thank you guys for your input on this. The ball does have something around it to protect it,But that means nothing. Does anyone else have any input on this? Any opinion would be greatly appreciated.
Agreed. Ted's is classic Brando. Very similar to mine.
