Mickey Mantle and Joe Dimaggio autographed baseballs -- real?

I'm new here and wanted to get your opinion before i send these out to a Authenticator for a LOA. Ive had the Mantle ball since the mid 90's and Joe D ball for about 10 years... was going to list them for sale eventually..

Please destroy them so they are no longer in hobby circulation.

and please, since im having a hard timing accepting this since ive had them for such a long time.. tell me why you say they are bogus? I appreciate you taking the time and giving me the truth, i don't want them circulating at all if theyre fake neither.

We can't help the forgers out there with their craft, but they both look really labored.  Great work Chris.

Lenny, there is no way I can explain it to you.  Since you don't have an eye for autographs, it would be almost impossible to explain to you why they are forgeries.

If you sent them to PSA or JSA for authentication, they would reject both of those autographs in two seconds.  They are horrific and obvious forgeries.

he may not have an "eye" for autographs NOW, that doesn't mean that a more detailed explanation isn't a valid request. Obviously, this site is full of information regarding Mantle, DiMaggio, etc. 

Collector's who bought in the 90's really didn't have the tools at hand as they do now to educate themselves.

The Mantle is a very typical forgery, and it has fooled a lot of people before this site started identifying them. the DiMaggio is just awful. If you do an ebay search on Dimaggio signed bb, you will see the differences immediately. you really dont need a good eye to see how bad the forgery is.

Thank you.. for the last couple of hours i examined quite a few balls and can see clearly where they went bad on the sigs. you can see where they started and stopped as well. 

well, now i know.. it wont happen again. i will send pictures of them in the toilet.

its almost creepy that ive been storing some dudes signature on display and i dont know who it is. im pretty pissed off right now. hope he rots in hell! not really, but i do hope he gets his .... equally
