I have a hard time believing that PSA/DNA passed this. IMO there are a lot of things wrong with this signature. At the very least it is NOT anything like any of Brady's signature styles, at least the ones I have seen.

T8H - it does appear odd... and anything from this place requires scrutiny. On MM I noticed some different styles on brady but this one doesn't seem to fit that I can see either;at tje moment anyhoo.
incidently, this is in violation of policy as it doesn't display the acutal coa that is suppose to be displayed; PSA/DNA Certification Number p61xxx was not found in the PSA/DNA Certification Database
Nice work DB. Once again your investigative techniques may uncover something.
I found the item in psa database.

It is the opinion of PSA/DNA Authentication Services that the signature(s) is/are genuine. According to the Certification Database, this item is defined as follows: |
|
Item: Football Primary Subject: TOM BRADY Result/Grade: Authentic |
I didnt know you werent not allowed to post a sample psa coa in your description . People do it all the time on ebay . Most put the cert number so you can verify . Good to know if thats true though .
Where did you find the certification number?
I noticed that as well earlier but as indicated previously, does this cert ID for the item actually have the COA that is suppose to go with it and be displayed - not a generic one. Since it's preceded by Holyfied & followed by a notable Jordan I questioned the SM COA sitting above it... then the Generic COA depicted made me suspect that they don't have the actual COA.
I see what your saying. I think its the real coa. Psa may have had a bunch of trust in them . Its a old cert. They have changed how they do things.
Thanks Anthony. I see it now.
I only have my 2000 Playoff Contenders RC to compare it to but I am fairly familiar with Brady’s signature and I agree that this one is atypical especially if it was signed in the early to mid-2000s which is what the ball would indicate. I am not as concerned about the “Brady” as I am about the “Tom” since he typically did not separate the letters back then. PSA must have an exemplar if they passed it but if the ball was signed back then I agree that it is questionable Terrier.
Hey Terrier. I'm not sure what the connection is but the eBay seller seems to be selling the same exact item as SportsMemorabilia.com. I would also like to retract what I said about the way that Brady signed his first name back then since I have found numerous examples of him separating the letters in "Tom" since I posted yesterday. Sorry about the confusion.
