Huge eBay Forgery Ring in Ohio - BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!

As the MLB Post-Season concludes and we head into November and December buyers beware of the following eBay sellers (if you click each seller's user name you will be directed to that seller's completed auctions on eBay.) I have to say folks this group seems just as bad and just as large as the group on eBay that was recently discovered to be counterfeiting PSA, JSA, and GAI COA's. Going back to this group who seems to based in Ohio, their "m.o" is cheap plastic baseballs and unlicensed photo's however they do mix in a few jerseys/footballs/bats etc from time to time. These sites together have sold close to 1,000 fakes on eBay in the past 60 days... They run the auctions live and start them low, and most of the eBay users are power-sellers! Check them out your input is always appreciated.

& last but not least seller: theinvestmentguru ... He has a 2012 S.F. Giants team signed ball at $535.00 with 1day and 20hrs to go. Ebay item #181004085190 (Click here to view the ball.) Lets see if we can get the ball removed before some buyer gets fooled. Better yet get them all banned! If you know your Giants autographs feel free to bash.

Hold the presses... is it just me or does it appear that ALL the JSA ones have been ended by the seller thesteelcurtain786 or are no longer available only to be replaced with a suite of others with that questionable COA we have seen elsewhere; unlimitedsigs one which was posted on page 2. Of course by ending them the Cert# can be hard to decipher as the original listing images can disappear.

Now we have theinvestmentguru and thesteelcurtain786 listing items with "their own" coa that look like they came from the same place.

Something doesn't seem right?

Also looks like Ebay sellers "theinvestmentguru" and "stc1984-us" re-listed their auctions for the 20th time.

Notice how they list their items as 1-Day auctions to avoid detection.

can't explain what's going on chris but this is excellent game of whack-a-mole.

& don't know what to think about the JSA ones now ended and now the "substituted" coa. I could see because they aren't on JSA but now I wonder if these ever belonged to him to begin with.

DB, Ebay is dropping the ball on these sellers. They have been re-listing their garbage over and over again. It's very frustrating to watch this, but we have to keep on it.

Right about that Chris. Major annoyance to keep checking, rechecking even with the whack-a-mole attitude.

fightingirish14789632, theinvestmentguru and stc1984-us have had the listings removed again! Seems theinvestmentguru should stick with just selling shoes.

Maybe EBAY can keep an eye on these homegrown "COAs". Still don't get the JSA ones from thesteelcurtain786 as he sold a boatload with the one day and that COA. This seller also ended the myriad of over 45 with JSA on them and it doesn't appear that any of them sold. Something still seems fishy that those items go down and the .99 ones go up shortly thereafter and the JSA ones are "no longer available since the seller ended the listing"
