Who is the seller and what's the story behind the sigs?

I didn't want to say too much about the seller and hoped to go more or less on the strength of the signature alone, but I know reputation is important in this industry and so here goes...

The seller is Billy Smith, a known associate of Springsteen's who once ran a rock and roll museum in Asbury Park which contained a lot of Springsteen artifacts.  He also has contributed a lot of photos and things to assorted books about Bruce and the band.

He currently operates an autograph store called Walls of Fame in Florida. Last year, on this website, some members expressed concern about an item being sold by him (in particular, an Eagles album, I think).

With regard to the signature itself, while it is not absolutely "typical" of most Springsteens I've seen, I think there are a lot of similarities. For whatever it's worth, I note that Julien's Live sold a vitrually identical signature on an album a few years ago.

So there's my dilemma. On one hand, I know Smith has connections to Springsteen. On the other, some people have had some concerns about his sales. So, I don't know what to think.

I'm certainly no expert but my first thought was these are good. 

Not every detail...in fact some details look strange...but good overall.

But I might be wrong.

Plus...now...the Walls of Fame story concerns me.

My advice is to email the scans to Roger Epperson or PSA's "Quick Opinion"  via their websites.  It's worth the 10 or 15 bucks to be sure and I'd be curious to know what they say.  Please post the opinions if you go this route. Thanks.

If you do go that route with Roger - I would love to know what he says.  I got mine as well from Billy Smith and I have only heard good things about him and I know he used to co-sign a lot of Springsteen items with RR.  Billy has always been very very good to me.  

I have had a bad taste in my mouth recently.  I  got most of collection authenticate with JSA and 1/2 were all bad - I did not bring in the Springsteen/E street.  I do have a lot of in person Springsteen with some members of the E Street band and those match up nicely with the album I have in the thread below.
