My husband and I bought a whole bunch of memorabilia from an exclusive military bidding website because he's in the military. I was considering selling them, however, after doing some research I came across few websites about Chris Morales (forensic examiner) who authorized items that are not authentic. We trusted the military website (Army Airforce Exchange Service) so we figured its legit. Now I'm concerned about them after reading so different law suites against this guy. I'd also like to advise AAEF as well to stop doing business with him as well if what he's selling is not real. How do I go about finding out if the items we have are real or not? I have whole bunch of baseball and boxing items. Your feedback is much appreciated. Thanks for your help.

If you post pictures here, a lot of knowledgeable people will give you their opinions for free. Otherwise, you'd have to send them off for authentication to JSA/PSA/etc. Good luck.
I will do that. Thanks for the quick response. I'm new at this and on this site so any tip or advise is much appreciated. It sucks because I'm getting laid off work and I husband's going to be deploy in May but in the mean time we need the extra cash and comes to find out all these items may be fake is very disapointing.
Let me know if this works..... do you know if there's any pending law suite against him that I can get involve in as well? Thanks for your help.
yes...they are very well known as "ALWAYS FAKE" AT AUCTION.
Get your money back from the thieves at AAFES. They know EXACTLY what they're doing...Good luck
Last year, and long overdue, Chris Morales, who calls himself a "Forensic Investigator," was placed on Ebay's Banned COA List. And deservedly so.
I've been following "the work" of Chris Morales for over eight (8) years and have yet to see anything he has "authenticated" as being authentic.
Does this Morales COA look familiar, Kristie?
Yes, it looks EXACTLY like this. I'm surprised that he even got the government fooled and able to sell to them. How do I show proof to AAEF that this guy is a fake to get my refund? Any advice or guidance is much appreciated. Thanks.
