Hi All,
Im new to this page and am fairly new to collecting memorabilia as well.
My partner and i are huge Nivarna fans and i really want to get a signed album but i am really unsure how to tell authenticity and from looking thru the threads on here there seems to be allot of fake stuff.
If anyone can help me out with the Authenticity of this it would be great!

that looks like girl handwriting! I've read his journals and his handwriting never looked that "pretty".
Mark,
I hate to tell you this, but Christopher Morales is known in the autograph community as the worst authenticator in the business and the forgers best firend. Very rarely if ever do you see an authentic autograph that he has certed. He is on ebays banned list and the net is full of information on him. Google search Chris Morales fake/forgery.
I'm not a Cobain expert (I don't think anyone is) I just have my doubts that the sheet is even close to authentic. Way too neat, way too pretty. Cobain's handwriting was all over the place, especially when scribbling down lyrics popping in his head.
Is the COA on that from Mr. Morales? Because it is very well known that he "certifies" forgeries.
Mr. Morales is on eBay's banned COA list. Nuff' said.
Wait to hear some other opinions on the paper on here. Then decide whether or not it's worth it to send it off to PSA/DNA.
Wow!! Christopher Morales COA!! That is a nail in the coffin!!
I agree, and look foward to some opinions on this peice from the information provided. Anyone who collects or deals also knows who Ebay prefers (different reasons from different dealers over the years) and i've used others such as PSA/DNA in the past. That should not negate how the authenticating of handwriting is performed at a professional legal level. Its not just confirming that the artist was there on that date at that location signing auto's. Handwriting forensics is the leading authenticating way in a court of law that confirms who the person is who wrote the words based on science. What would be the reasoning behind a highly credited professional who has past experience of analyzing handwritings for the government/courts to place bias on this item or not do the job he's paid for? Which is analyzing and comparing handwritings. Not if it's Kurt Cobain, but if its in the same writing style of the person in question and there grammer characteristics. Which clearly it is.. expert or not. I would really like to know what it takes, besides knowing you got autograpghs yourself, to confirm. My peice has a great story of how it was aquired in addition to the scientific proof and Kurt documenting his writings got stolen. No doubt these writings existed and there are more I've seen them, unless somebody really got creative like that junk on Ebay (horrible). And can tar heroin finger prints on the paper help verify? I would like to use this peice as a lesson in what it takes to authenticate or not. check it close and compare to his journals. Thanks fans
Sorry Mark but i cant do anything else for you. You can lead a horse to water. Do the research for yourself on Morales. And if your happy with your autographs then good for you. Just please dont try and sell them to anyone.
Check out my blog below about Chris Morales and a court case he was involved in.
