Well since I am the person who obtained it myself IN PERSON I can assure you it IS REAL! why you wouldn't ask me yourself thru Ebay is beyond me! I have no need to lie and certainly I do NOT pay for authentications and waste my money! I have my word and work in this Industry...all I have! and if your wondering why my feedback is private it is because some people mean to do harm to other people and have tried to write my customers asking them personal questions...these folks have written me on numerous occasions about this and were upset that they were bothered and harrassed like that! so to make it easier I just went ahead and made my auctions private for that fact...I have met R.E.M. on a few different occassions and every one that KNOWS knows that he signs in many different ODD ways! I have no reason to lie to my customers just to get a few bucks out of them!  besides have you even seen ALL of my other auctions? PROOF pictures where I DO NOT hide my face? and working as well? all you need to do is ask me...I am a very honest person and have no desire to be fraudulent ...I heard about your question thru a friend so I joined and had to respond because I thought it very odd that you couldn't write ME first!  but i do respect your being on here and asking as well...nothing wrong with that.  God Bless   JOEY

Samuel has every right to ask others opinions on a potential purchase. The fact that you got so worked up about it is a huge red flag. Samuel if you're seriously considering it, it would be worth it to pay Roger Epperson $15 for his quick opinion.

From your attitude in this reply id never buy from you. And that autograph looks like a rough forgery to me. Using the excuse of Stipe having multiple signing styles doesnt hold any water. Nice try though.

I have now been following this discussion for a few days and after looking at Joey Myers other items that he have for sale on Ebay at the moment, I have to say the following:

The Iron Maiden poster that the seller stated that he got in person during the final frontier in 2011 is NOT signed by the members in Iron Maiden. I can say this since I have been following the band since 1982 and have been lucky enough to meet the band about 15 times since 1984 and the signatures that I have got in person looks nothing like these.

What is even funnier is that he stats that he got the poster signed in San Antonio, Texas, 6/12/2010 and that he keeps his original laminated pass and throw in a Working pass that is from the O2 Arena, London, 8/6/2011! If you have ever been working at a concert you will know that if you have a working pass, you are there to work and not to hang out with the band.

This is a picture of a signed Powerslave cd that I have got  in person at one of my meetings with the band. And you can all see how different the signatures are compared to the poster.

Just for fun I will show a picture of my collection of laminated Iron Maiden backstage passes. So, Yes I have been backstage at a show or two.....

And since it seems like everything comes down to photo proofs, I will post a picture of me and Steve Harris that was taken backstage in Stockholm, Sweden on 8/7/2010.

So how come that the autographs on your poster that you have got in person are so different from the autographs on my cd that I have got in person? Is it just that I get nicer autographs because I know the band members better than you?

I think it comes down to that my Iron Maiden autographs are real and your is not! And you know it too! So please don't come here and say that you have got all your autographs in person. It feels more that the autographs have been signed BY you and not FOR you.

I threw in a pass from the o2 show so someone could have it with their poster...no big deal!  and besides you yourself could have purchased  all those passes your damn self  on Ebay!  and  1 picture with Harris  does not justify you knowing them...you paid for a meet n greet is all,or was lucky and met a crew guy and he may have hooked you up is all...and little do you know that I have been given MANY working passes over the years and have been allowed by MGMT  to come and go as I please...so your  comment is useless and way out the door! bro you have no idea how it works back there and if you really did you wouldn't have made your self like these other  clowns look like a horses ass but you just did  :)    arguing with idiots  is  only making me now look like one...LOL   hahaha  gotta stop!    so  a  BIG KISS from AMERICA  for you  :)
