It looks like a real autograph but I don't know what the numbers are. Any ideas?

those are his MVP years

Please post better pics if you could...at first glance I dont think its authentic for the simple fact of all the inscriptions...The Authentic Mantle Golf balls I have seen usually only have his name and or just a number 7 inscription....if you can show a picture of the name Mickey and the Mantle better I am sure you can get a solid answer...but just from that photo I don't think its authentic but really cant be solid on an opinion unless I see the rest of his name...

I added another pic

Sorry Robert...I don't believe this ball is authentic at all...

I have a really general question about this:  Is it even possible to authenticate sign golf balls?  It seems to me that any given signature looks just so warped and distorted due to the texture, size and curve of the ball, that definitively nailing down authenticity short of having obtained the thing yourself is just about impossible.

They are absolutely not able to be authenticated. I would only own one if I got it in person.

I agree Rich. I once signed my own name on a golf ball and it looked nothing like my normal signature so I don't really think they can be authenticated easily.

I'd be absolutely stunned if this was authentic. A weird surface should not result in the entire shape of the autograph changing.
