Opinions on this ARod and 1998 team signed Yankee baseball

I have bought from this seller quite a few times and his pieces were legit, but I'm not familiar with Yankees autographs as I do not follow the evil empire(Red Sox fan here). I tried looking at authentic ARod autographs, but his signature just seems to be everywhere and changing constantly.

I would love to have these in my collection. Although it is hard for me to say, the Yankees from the late 90s and early 2000s arguably were the most complete team in history.

The team signed ball is signed by JOE TORRE, BERNIE WILLIAMS, MARIANO RIVERA, TINO MARTINEZ, JEFF NELSON, SHANE SPENCER, DAVID WELLS, DAVID CONE, CHAD CURTIS, CHUCK KNOUBLAUCH, ORLANDO " EL DUQUE" HERNANDEZ, JOE GIRARDI, JORGE POSADA, RAMIRO MENDOZA, LUIS SOJO, CHILI DAVIS, PAUL O'NEIL, TIM RAINES

Thanks,

Kevin

I actually have one of these 98 balls in my collection. They were signed through Goldin Sports.

It is missing Jeter, Wells and Pettitte. I can't even begin to image what it'll cost to add Jeter. :-(

Maybe you can Catch Jeter when he is old and grey on the Signing Circut

I have actually purchased from him before and he has some exact proof videos of some of his autographs and some regular proof(doesn't mean much to me if its not exact).

This would be a lot of effort and really good forgery to get some right on and some sort of sloppy autographs. I know he lives in New York and gets a ton of his autographs on the street in massive crowds so it makes sense for some to be extremely sloppy. Some of the Torre is off but it's not major offs. It's a smooth flow and for someone who does not have a lot of big names in their store, it would be useless to have such "forging technique" and not be making a lot of money off it.

I have bought some band signed Aerosmith albums and an Axl/Slash signed CD cover that Mr. Epperson okayed and were authenticated by JSA. Leads me to believe its real and just sloppy due to him getting his autographs on the street and in crowds. Just wanted to get others' thoughts :).

Thanks,

Kevin.

The placement of the signatures closely mimics a manufactured team signed piece, but the rushed signatures show otherwise.  I'm not comfortable with it for that reason, it doesn't seem plausible that it was assembled "on the streets".  But if you are happy with it, go for it.

The Mariano is upside down on one side and they aren't evenly spaced out. Also one of the signatures(can't tell who it is) is right on top of the Rawlings symbol. Do you have a picture of the manufacture ball you are talking about?

Also I think I may buy it, take better photographs and post them on here. He offers a money back guarantee and I'm a returning customer so he would most likely honor it.

Thanks,

Kevin
