Early Jeter Signed Ball?

Hi Everybody: I came across this signed ball in an antiques shop recently over
the weekend. I was hoping to get some takes on whether this looks like a legit
early Jeter signature? I've been trying to do some research on his earlier
signature as its changed over time. Ball is a labeled with former American
League President Gene Budig which would put it in the 1994-1999 era.

I'd
appreciate to get any feedback on this ball. Thanks...

Definitely a forgery.  Look like the forger was trying to emulate a "1996 circa" Jeter autograph like the one John T. posted earlier.
