Whats your rarest most hard to find rock n roll autograph in your collection?

Mine would be(as of now) a newspaper article from feb 1969 about the stones rock n roll circus signed by mick, keith, bill, charlie and BRIAN JONES at one of his few visits at olympic studios for the let it bleed sessions, the author of the article had it signed at olympic studios , a few visits it took to finally catch brian aroound march/april....right before he left the stones.

This is one of the last items Brian Jones has signed with the stones in 1969

It was purchased from Tracks UK with letters of prov.  it was expensive but well worth it.

Pride to my collections this signature - MARISKA VERES ( "SHOCKING BLUE"), "SLADE", ROBERT PLANT ( "LED ZEPPELIN " ).

Slade is great!

LOVE The Slade piece.

People don't realize how HUGE they were in the UK. They ruled he post-Beatles charts in the early 70's. Never made it big in the US for reasons I don't quite understand.  Quiet Riot had a hit covering Slade's C** On Feel the Noiz (or however they spelled it).

And they were brilliant lyricists. Who else could pen a line like: "My friend Jack's got a neck in his back. Ooh yeah"?

You better double check that you don't have a copy of this Stones piece as I own it and have it in my possession.

Do you mean the Ron Wood picture or the newspaper signed by Brian?

I mean the Stones newspaper sigs

How long have you owned it? He posted the pic over 2 years ago and may have sold it since then.

God catch. Didn't realize this was old.

Neither did I notice it was this old, I have had it for maybe 8 months.

INF73, did you buy it from Tracks? They are top-notch and back things up. Roger, could you post your piece please?

Thanks

Yes, would surprised me if Tracks sell copy's.

They are very sharp and careful and would never knowingly do so, but you or Roger have a reproduction. Better to find out sooner than late, and this will be an education for everyone.
