I'm about to drop some serious cash on a Harry Ford auto, and I just wanted to get a second opinion from my friends on here before doing so. I haven't studied his signature for too long, but it looks to me like a pretty well-pronounced textbook signature. The peculiarities (the zigzags after the H starting in an upward position instead of downward, a wider D than usual) seem to be a consistent peculiarity among known exemplars. I used images from Coolwaters and Official Pix signings for comparisson.
I'm sold on it, but whenever I spend a lot, I like to hear it from my buddies on here too! What do you think?

I like it JXE. I would have no problem adding this one to my collection. The only concern that I would have is the way that he crossed the end of his signature but I have seen authentic examples of him doing this on occasion. Keep us posted.
Wow, that didn't occur to me. Do you happen to have any exemplars that illustrate that cross? I did a quick scan after reading your post but I couldn't find one.
I do think I'm going to grab it. It looks just as nice, if not nicer than the ones that have come out of the private signings.
It is rare but I have seen it on authenticated Harrison Ford autographs before. Here is one currently being sold on eBay with a PSA LOA.

No problem. Like I said, I would have no problem adding this one to my collection.
It'll be just over $300. I don't think that's bad considering it's 11x14 and already PSAd. Plus, the ones in that size from the official signings ranged from $500-650 in that size, and Indy shots seem to be much rarer than Han shots. What do you think?
I am aware of both sellers and I have no problems with either seller's inventory. I know the price is on the high end, but I'm picky about the image, the size, and the style of autograph. I like the level of neatness to this one that isn't present on a lot of them outside of the signings. Factor in PSA's fee of $50 before shipping and I think it's worth paying a little more for something that meets all of my picky specifications.
The other Ford I own is an Official Pix 11x14 Han (one of the first 50 they did) and I remember that being almost $500.
I agree with Kevin. If you have your heart set on this one you will only regret settling for something else.
