Here's another ugly Mickey Mantle forgery on a baseball found on Ebay.

This putrid-looking Mickey Mantle forgery on a baseball is listed by Ebay seller Onlyhim.

Ebay seller Onlyhim writes "This will pass any third-party authentication such as PSA or JSA."

Both PSA and JSA will reject this piece-of-crap Mickey Mantle forgery in a millisecond.

Gotta love when the sellers of these Mickey Mantle forgeries "Includes a ticket from the signing."   What a bad joke!!!!

As told before, Chris Williams is recognized in autograph circles as one of the best at mantle in the WORLD!!

Agree with Chris on this one, it would fail JSA or PSA.

Below is another example of what you said was the real deal as well, no different then mine except you have spent the money for JSA to say it is real.  You have a letter from JSA and a poor photo of the signature to distort it.  Please!!

this Mantle is A LOT different than yours Mr. Smith.  To start with, this one is authentic. you mentioned that you don't sign your name the same way twice. I will guarantee that when you DO sign your name, it is not slowly drawn like your Mantle obviously is.  Look at it closely.  Even a person that is NOT a Mantle expert (and I assure you the Christopher Williams IS) can spot this as a forgery, simply by the way it is written.

it is a forgery.  Period.

John,

I appreciate you coming on here, but you have proved to be a liar (Saw Mantle sign your ball) and an idiot. The ball you are selling is a classic, well known forgery to collectors and professionals. It looks NOTHING like the authenticated one....NOTHING. If you would open your eyes and admit you no more saw him sign that than I saw Lincoln assassinated, you'd be better off.

We are wrong on occasion, but this isn't the occasion. Stop lying to your self & whoever TOLD you that was signed in front of them lied to you. STOP making an ass out of yourself. The proof is in the signature PERIOD!

Side-by-side photos of the two Mantle forgeries.

Sorry Mr. Smith, I have collected Mantle for years, and wouldn't touch that ball. Chris is right on this one

I have not purchased a Mantle signature but I have paid for them in person at shows that Mickey was doing in the early 90's such as the one that I have.  I HAVE A REAL signed Mantle baseball.

Chris is wrong and so are you.  I have a huge collection of signed items that I have personally gotten in person, every single one of them.  I have presidents, baseball, football and hockey.  I have met every single one of them.

This is the problem, every one thinks they are expert and kills it for people like me that would like to sell an item, just one item out many and I can't even do that without someone bashing it.

John, if I am wrong, then prove me wrong.

If as you claim, my Mantle is no different than yours, then JSA should authenticate yours with no issues.

John, if I was in your shoes, and adamant that your "Mantle" is authentic, I'd be at the post office tomorrow shipping your "Mantle" to JSA.

or at least submit it to PSA for a "Quick Opinion"

Here is the link to PSA's "Quick Opinion" service.

Can you show us some of your other in person Mantle signatures?
