are these real early signatures or fake? Can anyone help?

Moderator note:  Member Nigel Young rec'd information about his items being forgeries.  He then removed all information on this thread pointing to those items, and posted them on eBay for sale.  His seller name is bluecityboy1969.  He has since been banned from the forum.

You received several opinions that it was fake from people who know what they're talking about but ignored them anyway.  129.99 GBP "but it now" for an item that could typically command four figures suggests you know it's bad and are going for the quick sale.

Don't know.  Don't care.

The Smiths record that he was referring to was as bad as the U2. I would never have touched it. And this one he states is 100% Genuine!

Did you even try to get a pro opinion on this?  PSA, JSA, Roger Epperson?  Any professional dealer with experience in U2?  Did you post in on the U2 Eastlink fan page and ask for opinions from people with years of experience and an acute interest in U2 autographs?  You making any effort here at all or just playing the "caveat emptor" card?

And because I don't give a rip about the Smiths means I know nothing about U2?  Solid reasoning.

That's really pathetic Nigel! No matter what you say about "that's just opinions", you know that these are fakes!

And when you still try to sell them = Thief!!!

"I don't understand what makes anyone more expert than anyone else"

This is the funniest comment I have ever seen in my entire life.

I've banned Nigel and reopened the discussion.  I don't have any of the posts he removed, nor the original photos as he's removed all the information.

I want to be absolutely sure though, are we sure the eBay seller with that item is Nigel (remember I can't see what he previously posted or said)

Thanks

Wascher

Hi, Wascher. At the bottom of the eBay listing the seller's address is stated :

bluecityboy1969
Nigel Young
28 Cooper Street
Manchester
Greater Manchester
M328NA
United Kingdom

Thanks Rich for taking the screen shots of Nigels information clearly printed on eBay.  I had not scanned the entire thread fully.

This Beatles album he recently sold can't possibly be authentic.

Edit: At the bottom of the listing he stated that it is likely not authentic.

Yes, if you look at my screen shots, his name is clearly depicted on the auction.  For what it's worth, it would seem that he did the right thing and ended the listing.  It would seem to be a closed case for now.

Look, I hate getting confrontational or even argumentative for any reason, but I found the way this played out to be borderline infuriating.

The fact that he took the time to remove all his posts in this thread - and photos - shows the intention to defraud someone.  He won't be back.  I have no tolerance for that at all.
