eBay seller rivahgirl picked up some junk Mantle forgeries at an auction thinking she found the diamond in the rough, unfortunately she picked up some turds in the rough, and is looking to flip them on eBay for profit.

Here are 3 horrific Mantle forgeries listed by eBay seller rivahgirl , all of these ending in 8 hours.

GAI forgeries:

Love the "blurred" photos these sellers have on AUTOGRAPHS, something that is VERY IMPORTANT TO SEE.

Another eBay seller who knows NOTHING about autographs going to a local auction and buying junk fakes to flip on eBay for profit while eBay sits back and does NOTHING. Four out of Five of the top 5 "Best Matches" for "Mickey Mantle Autograph" are FORGERIES. eBay PROMOTES FORGERIES. Sickening.

Too bad that sellers of obvious forgeries can't be.

be careful what you say on here. you have no proof that these are forgeries and that the person was aware if they were forgeries.

Janet, do you believe your the first seller to come here and confront this website? Those items are 100% forgeries. There is no chance any of them are authentic. That is a fact.

Thanks for being honest.

let me say it again.  rivahgirl is selling what are known to be GUARANTEED forgeries.

eBay forgery seller Rivahgirl  aka "Janet Clarke", these are well known and obvious forgeries of Mickey Mantle signed by the hundreds/thousands and "authenticated" by GAI and Mike Baker etal and part of the operation bullpen FBI sting. Do some research before you post something you don't know anything about. Before you buy forgeries at "estate auctions" do some homework. Rivahgirl  as the seller of these forgeries you are assuming responsibility for the listing.

I am not RivahGirl and I don't know her, just saw the post after looking for Mantle autographs and thought I would put in my two cents worth. GEEZ, you guys are brutal.

Janet, you could half way salvage at least some credibility by admitting your the seller. We know you are, we know what you have said is a complete lie, and if your lying like this on here, why should we believe your not lying in your ebay auctions???

Speaking of google, if someone is interested in buying from you in the future and they google your name, you know what will pop up now??? right???? This will be front and center, and the people reading it wont be stupid either. They will see the obvious truth that not only are these your items, but you are lying about it. A lie within a lie.

Now if you want to salvage your name, here is what you can do. Admit they are yours and that you didnt know they were forgeries. Take them down off auction and burn them and apologize. Not to us, but to the potential autograph community customers. We have called out many many sellers of forgeries here, and some are good people who just didnt know what they were listing. And in cases like that, typically the thread is edited to reflect that and that the seller was an honest person.

However, there are some problems with applying this to you. The main one being that you have repeatedly listed the same items over and over every time ebay took them down. This is a major sign of dishonesty.

Its time to fess up

I have proof. PSA/DNA a well respected 3rd party authenticator just failed them VIA quick opinion. So council where do I send this documentation? You firms address will suffice.

Sue us and you won't even get to court and if you did you'd be laughed out of court. All of the items shown above being sold by rivahgirl are fakes or forgeries, call them what you like. Now please sue me and give us all a laugh!

Another one down in flames thanks to the autograph police! I thought it hilarious reading that she was claiming that it was some type of sexist thing. 90% of the fake sellers exposed here are probably male. Didnt know Wascher was a lady. Always like to hear what lady autograph collectors have to say and might be nice if more were on here.

She was one of the more entertaining ones for sure.
