Is this Mantle baseball sig real? Helping a friend w/ cancer raise money. neep help

Ok so my friend gave me this huge box of old cards and stuff I told him I would go through for him because he has a friend who is dealing with some huge medical bills and he was going to buy everything from him that was real but he wasn't sure about the Mantle ball because of the reason most novist collectors are (there are a lot of fakes) It looks real to me and there is a Scoreboard cert with it but I know you guys won't BS me on its authenticity. There were like 5 other balls who were probably Braves players that were ruined and I Cant make out names and the one that would be able to read I can't tell who it is. Well here is a pic of the ball and the cert. I would really appreciate you guys help and if it's real awesome if not it's no big deal.

I would lean towards authentic.

Just a few things I see that I don't like.  I don't like the C in Mickey and the T in Mantle.

But I would say its a good sig.

Others will chime in on it, with more knowledge than myself.

Ok, I found another item in the box I don't even think he knew was in there. I've seen similar type things but I have no idea if it's authentic. This one isn't a baseball but I would love to know if it's real or not too. thanks for everyone who can give me a little help. I don't know where this item came from but it's notarized by someone from texas.

Authentic.

Authentic.

Both are good.

Both authentic

One more question, I'm not trying to sell these Items. I'm actually thinking of buying them. How much would each of these sell for on the open market or what would a fair estimate for each of the Mantle autos both have Scoreboard certs. If anyone could help me with that I'd appreciate it.

one is the ball and the other is a stat plaque.

The ball is a bit of a challenge to appraise.  A lot of people bid on signed Mantle baseballs with the scoreboard coa when the signature looks good; I bought one for $375 and it was a snow white ball, but I did have others bidding at the time.  I think a fair estimate would be $225-325 but I would go for it for around $230-250 given the ball is not pristine.  Still a nice signature to own.

Some people manage to pay low $200s for signed Mantle balls for a steal, but if you know the person it wouldn't be ethical; but that's your choice not mine.  Good luck

on the ball i would put around 300ish and 150 or so on the Stat sheet.

Agreed. $300 and $150 are fair average prices. A decent deal for you and a fair price for the seller. With JSA or PSA, the Mantle ball would go for more, but it would cost you $100 to add the LOA.

That's a nice ball, I think it'd fetch $325-$375 on eBay easy.

The stat sheet $130-$175.
