KISS autographed 8x10 by Press Pass Collectibles (Arizona) eBay

Hi fellow autograph collectors,

I came across this autographed 8x10 on eBay supposedly signed by Gene, Ace, Paul and Peter. Do you guys think it's real or fake? Note: Where is the "3" on Peter's signature?

Just ran across this thread.

I just purchased an item from Press Pass Collectable

Its an Ian McShane signed photo and now I am worried its not real!

I just checked with his authentication number with PSA and it says NOT FOUND!

Thoughts??

Dont worry about the cert lookup. Just email psa a scan of the auto with the sticker and cert and they'll fix it. I don't know his autograph well enough to tell you if it's real or not.

Mark, interesting that you mention that. I have a copy of a PSA 10 Johnny Unitas signed Football that PressPass sold for over $1000, I took a photo of the listing page. If you look up the PSA number, it says that it is "Not Found". I think because most people never check on the numbers to see if they are legit, there are even more items with PSA out there that are no good. I will look for the photo and post it.

Again, you're jumping to the most extreme assumption. Most of the time a PSA number that isn't in the directory just means they failed to add it to their database properly. I've gotten items from all sorts of places with this problem. You have to scan the autograph with the sticker and cert to PSA and they'll update their database. Besides, isn't the narrative that they're good friends with the authentication companies so they get bad items certed? That contradicts this new theory that they're selling things with fake certs.

Like I said 3 times now, they're a mixed bag... but their ITP stuff is fine and you can get good deals if you know what you're doing and you do your homework.

There are many times I have got that looking up a cert #. I email PSA and they get it fixed. It happens.

Here are a couple of photo's of the Unitas ball. On top of it all, the signature is no good. The ball is from Gridiron. They are close on the signature, but like ll their fakes, they usually miss a few key details. On Unitas, they always have the o way too close to the J and Johny is too low compared to the last name. Even if this is a legit PSA authentication, they missed one here.
