The reason the feedback is private is because the item that was listed was made to be private so you cant see the item in the feedback section,, if he set his feedback profile to private you wouldn't be able to see anything other then the recent feedback numbers given or received.. No im not the seller nor an associate just an educated seller on ebay since 1999 giving some info.. JD

wow... been a member here for less than 24 hours and I'm being accused of Knowing or being the seller?  Seriously is this Facebook?  I came here with Knowledge of Memorabilia to HELP others, not be harassed by PUNKS.. Maybe if u took the time to read the "items description" and READ it ,, maybe u cant read.. It clearly states, it was a ONE DAY AUCTION and he was moving.. That's all I commented on.. I have over 30 years of autograph expertise and thought I could give others assistance here.... LOL

Sorry Jim, but you are either the seller or a friend of the seller. We have seen this too many times to count and its old hat. How did you know the seller was moving, and thats the reason it was a one day auction? But that is really an unneeded question, we know that you are him or an associate. Gotta call it like it is

Ditto, Carl.

Carl, I wouldn't attack him so quickly. The seller actually did state in his description several times (maybe in listings of the jersey before this one) that the reason he made it a one day auction was that he was moving. Probably a ploy to try and get people to rush to bid, but Jim didn't make it up.

Thanks Mike. That does answer the question about how he knew about the guy moving. But, all the other hallmarks are there as to this being the seller or associate.

thank u,,, I don't enjoy being attacked for just stating what I read in the sellers auction description,, Maybe if Carl read the description like others did, he would also know what I posted was what was clearly in the description.. Forgeries on Ebay effect my sales and when I spot one I report the item. Based on my one day experience here already I am rethinking the help I can offer others based on Carl attacking other members!!

The only mention of moving was that he claimed he lost the COA while moving.

"The C.O.A card that came with the jersey has actually been lost/misplaced while moving my office last month."

In the listing Jason posted to start this thread, the quote was-

"Starting this upcoming Tuesday my office will be closed for 10 days. This is why I listed this as a (1) day auction so I can assure shipping on Monday before I leave. For this to happen I must request that the auction is paid for at it's conclusion."

In the re-list after the item was pulled, the quote was-

"It's a one day auction because I'm leaving for vacation on Thursday."

So which is it, Tuesday or Thursday? And when it was supposed to be Tuesday, he had other auctions ending on Thursday. So what was to become of them if he was leaving on Tuesday? Not to mention those other items were orphaned COA's, as posted in this thread-

Bottom line - Bad news seller, bad items, busted for shill bidding, can't keep his stories straight, and "Jim Desalle" appearing out of the blue to defend him is the same old thing we've seen a million times. And we all know why forgeries are listed with a 1-day auction, and it's not because of vacations, moving, or anything of that nature.

no he didnt.

He shilled the auction left himself positive feedback in a day. He then relisted it and it was pulled.
