well let's look at it logically.  why would it be a forged signature with COLLETT on it?

I side more towards it being real.

I have seen MANY Fakes over the years inscribed to someone.  Perhaps one of Michael's people did not want to disappoint a fans mail request and forged his signature?  Also, forgers know there is less chance of being found out if they inscribe it to someone (even though it is worth less). I've seen it happen more times than not over my 20+ years of collecting.

Good point.  That's why they call it an opinion...I will change mine to likely not authentic.  I am not a big fan of personalized signatures anyways..
