Ok so this is certified by PSA/DNA

Now if this is real, then all of the ppl on here who say that "its a typical mickey MaUTLE" therefore it is fake has some explaining to do.

As you can see with this example it is very much MAUTLE instead of MaNtle...

So is it now safe to say that sometime Mickey signed Mautle?

It's fine.

I think you were missing what I was getting at.

I know the sig is real. But I know a lot of ppl on here would say that Mautle was a tell tell sign of a fake mantle sig.

That one in question is in fact a Mautle not a manlte and its authentic. So that theory doesnt hold water anymore in my opinion.

actually the theory still holds up thats 1 a typical n out of thousands...that can be held for any letter of anygraphs...I still wouldnt want it .

When they talk about "Mautle" you can usually tell that the rest of the signature is off. In this case, there's a small abnormality.

ok, so your saying that the sig is in fact real, and the U shape is ok because the overall sig is ok?

just learning.  I see a lot that have the mautle but not as blatant as this photo, but the rest of the sig looks great and spot on. good to know

thanks mike

Exactly Kam

Yes. People here have taught me to look at the overall signature and not just one part :)

Absolutely authentic.

There is nothing "abnormal" about that Mickey Mantle autograph.  It's gorgeous.

I think it's fair to say that the "n" is just a little strange and looks more like a "u" and that's what Tyler is asking about.

Actually, Mike, to the trained eye, it isn't strange at all.

But you bring up a good point, Mike.  That's where someone with a trained eye can immediately see that it's authentic.

It's actually a beautiful Mickey Mantle penned autograph.

I agree with Christopher, this is a very nice example and I would not hesitate to add it to my collection.
